| Founding Fathers Bookends from the Black Forest Woodworks Patriot Collection are inspired by the heroes who shaped our country’s history. Select from busts of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and Abraham Lincoln. The Founding Fathers Bookends are made in America from solid African mahogany and measure 7 7/8” tall x 5” wide x 5 1/2” deep. The bookends are 1 3/16” thick and as a set weigh approximately 3.25 pounds. We expertly carve and sculpt the busts from solid Honduras mahogany and then apply an Olympic ® mahogany stain to produce a bronzing effect. The carved bust dimensions are approximately 5” tall, 3 1/8” wide and 1” thick. The space between the bookend and the carved busts may be used for a letter holder. Lastly, we apply a protective clear finish over the bookends and busts.
