The Musical Irish Whiskey Box is handcrafted in America by Irish descendants themselves. The piece was inspired by Father Fitzgibbon’s whiskey box in the film Going My Way, which won Best Picture 1944. The whiskey box is built from solid Black Walnut with a walnut plywood bottom. It plays the beloved tune “That’s An Irish Lullaby.”
This custom Musical Irish
Whiskey Box features Celtic Weave carvings on the top lid surface. The raised ¾”
thick
solid hardwood lid panel
is free floating to allow for seasonal movement of the wood due to humidity changes. The
center of the Celtic Weave on
the top lid surface may
be personalized with text engraving. (Limit
of 1 line of text with a maximum of 10 characters in either font style).
Open the whiskey box
to reveal on the lid’s underside a 3D shamrock carving with engraved text
quoting Father O’Malley, Bing Crosby’s character,
“A bit of old Ireland”.
Special design details include a custom compartment for a 750 ml bottle of Irish whiskey and protective hunter green felt lined compartments for two 5.5 ounce rocks glasses. The rocks glasses are included with the Musical Irish Whiskey Box. The gold finish music movement is fully visible when the lid is open. The whiskey box features solid brass hardware including a lock latch with key, quadrant hinges, and surface mounted decorative hinges.

Whiskey Box is handcrafted with quality materials, expert craftsmanship,
and attention to detail and then finished by hand with three coats of
clear finish. This clear finish reveals the natural beauty of the hardwood
and makes the appearance of each item unique from the others we have
handcrafted.

generations.
